Once your normal lab results have returned to our office, you will receive a phone call
from our patient information line within two to four weeks. Our automated system will
randomly call you until it reaches a person or an answering machine. You will then hear a
message stating that your test results are in, and you will be given a phone number to
call to retrieve your results. You may then call the automated system back at your
convenience.
Follow the instructions below; listen to the entire message and then erase it.
If you don’t, the system will continue to call you.
STEP 1
USING A “TOUCH TONE” TELEPHONE CALL THE NUMBER YOU WERE GIVEN BY OUR AUTOMATED
SYSTEM.
STEP 2
YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SELECT ENGLISH OR SPANISH.
STEP 3
DIAL IN YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.
STEP 4
BE SURE TO LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE MESSAGE, OR IT WILL KEEP CALLING YOU BACK.
STEP 5
AFTER LISTENING TO YOUR MESSAGE, YOU CAN PLAY IT AGAIN BY DIALING “#1.”
OTHERWISE, DIAL “#2” TO ERASE.
YOU CAN NOW HANG UP YOUR TELEPHONE. THAT’S ALL THERE IS TO IT!
